Arizona mother arrested for killing infant son and hiding body in freezer

An Arizona woman has been charged with murdering her 15-month-old son after she allegedly threw the child into his crib and later concealed the body in a hotel freezer. Ochra Manakaja, 31, called police from a Flagstaff hotel room and confessed to the killing.

Police say Manakaja told officers she became frustrated with the boy's crying on April 29 and hurled him into the crib. She later admitted hitting and slapping the child, according to court documents. The boy reportedly vomited, developed a fever and stopped breathing, but she did not seek medical help because she feared getting in trouble.
