The Houston Astros threw a combined no-hitter against the Texas Rangers on Memorial Day, winning 9-0 at Globe Life Field. Tatsuya Imai, Steven Okert and Alimber Santa held the Rangers hitless in the first no-hitter in Major League Baseball since Sept. 4, 2024.
Imai started and threw six scoreless innings. He walked the first two batters but escaped and retired 15 of the final 17 hitters he faced. The right-hander threw 97 pitches and allowed no hits while striking out two.
