New additions include the AH-6 Little Bird, an attack helicopter for NATO forces offering high mobility and firepower. Weapons introduced are the M121 A2 belt-fed machine gun for close-range damage, the GRT-CPS semi-automatic designated marksman rifle for mid- to long-range, and the VCR-2 assault rifle for close-quarters combat. Gadgets comprise the 9K38 IGLA anti-air missile launcher, the HTI-Mk2 recon device for detecting enemy gadgets, and the Protective Mask essential for contaminated zones affected by the new psychoactive smoke weapon VL-7.

Season 2 brings limited-time modes themed around VL-7 smoke, including VL-7 Strike in multiplayer and REDSEC, Battle Royale Synthesis on Fort Lyndon, and Gauntlet Altered State. The Battle Pass offers four themed paths with rewards like hardware, skins, and XP boosts, while BF Pro provides additional unlocks and features.

The update includes over 240 fixes and improvements, shaped by community feedback. Key changes address weapon recoil for consistency, movement predictability with refined slides and jumps, vehicle reliability, map exploits, and UI enhancements like a new stat screen in the Player Profile. Audio, visual, and stability updates are also implemented across platforms.
