BMKG forecasts light rain across most of Indonesia on Sunday

Further, light rain is expected in Denpasar in Bali, Mataram in West Nusa Tenggara, Makassar in South Sulawesi, Mamuju in West Sulawesi, Kendari in Southeast Sulawesi, Gorontalo, Manado in North Sulawesi, Sorong in Southwest Papua, Manokwari in West Papua, Nabire in Central Papua, Jayapura in Papua, and Jayawijaya in Papua Mountains.

Lintang Alya urged heightened preparedness for heavy to very heavy rain in Banten, West Java, Central Java, and East Java. In western Indonesia, watch for thunderstorms in Bandar Lampung and Banjarmasin, with moderate rain in Pekanbaru, Bandung, and Surabaya. In the east, thunderstorms may hit Merauke and moderate rain Ambon, amid thick clouds over Kupang and Ternate.
