Lintang Alya urged heightened preparedness for heavy to very heavy rain in Banten, West Java, Central Java, and East Java. In western Indonesia, watch for thunderstorms in Bandar Lampung and Banjarmasin, with moderate rain in Pekanbaru, Bandung, and Surabaya. In the east, thunderstorms may hit Merauke and moderate rain Ambon, amid thick clouds over Kupang and Ternate.
