Brennan Wedl announces self-titled album out in August

Brennan Wedl will release her self-titled album on August 21 via Anti-. The record was co-produced by Katie Crutchfield of Waxahatchee and Brad Cook.

Brennan Wedl has signed with Anti- for the album. It features backing musicians including Snail Mail’s Lindsey Jordan along with Colin Croom and Matt McCaughan.

Wedl directed the video for the track “Pretty Little Fantasy,” which is available now. The album marks her formal solo debut following earlier work with Dazey and the Scouts.

Snail Mail and Soccer Mommy will take Wedl on the road for the first half of their co-headlining tour this fall. She is also scheduled to play headline dates in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, and Philadelphia in October.
