Christian Democrats leader Ebba Busch warned at a press conference in Visby that victory is at risk for the Tidö parties. She stressed that the coming four years should not focus on major tax cuts but instead on welfare and ordinary families' finances.
At a press conference in Visby on June 22, Ebba Busch cited opinion polls showing a difficult situation for the Tidö parties. She said victory is at risk but still believed in a record comeback if the party shifts gears.
Busch explained that KD is running on a platform where the overall tax burden should not increase, but low-income earners should benefit more than high-income earners. Therefore the party will not support a new job tax deduction that lowers taxes for all workers.
At the same time, the Moderates presented their three main election promises for September: more money left in the wallet for those who work, shorter care queues, and ensuring criminals serve time. Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson described the past years as a cleanup job and now wants to focus on everyday crimes and stronger finances for working families.
