The Social Democrats are demanding an external review of Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and the government over conflicts of interest. Party secretary Tobias Baudin says all cards must be on the table.
The background is Aftonbladet's reporting that a foundation where Kristersson's sister-in-law sits on the board has received increased funding in the spring budget revision.
Baudin also mentions that Kristersson's childhood friend Henrik Landerholm was appointed national security adviser. He wonders if there are more decisions where Kristersson or ministers have had conflicts of interest.
According to Baudin it does not matter that Kristersson has said he believes he did not know about the sister-in-law's board position. He has made decisions that benefit a sister-in-law and then it is an obvious conflict of interest situation, says Baudin.
