Matthieu Blazy presented Chanel's fall 2026 couture collection yesterday in Paris with a woodland forest setting and fairy tale motifs. The show featured intricate embroidery, whimsical accessories, and an A-list front row.
The collection emphasized handcrafted details drawn from classic tales such as Jack and the Beanstalk and Puss in Boots. Skirt suits displayed dense floral appliqués and lace embroidery while shoes included carved beanstalk heels and golden egg designs. Minaudieres shaped like beans and buttons featuring feline faces or bears added playful touches.
Blazy drew inspiration from a fairy tale book once owned by Coco Chanel. The presentation took place at Le Grand Palais and highlighted light fabrics alongside the brand's signature tweed suiting.
Attendees included Pedro Pascal, Teyana Taylor, Lupita Nyong’o, Cole Escola, Sarah Pidgeon, Algerian boxer Imane Khelif, and British runner Dina Asher-Smith. Many arrived wearing Chanel looks that complemented the show's whimsical theme.
