Charli XCX has revealed plans for a 'Conversations' event in New York City next month. The announcement comes as she prepares to release a new rock-focused album. Fans can RSVP via her website to join discussions on her creative process.
Charli XCX shared details of the event on Instagram on April 28. The post featured an image styled like headed notepaper stating 'New York, May 2026. Conversations.' A handwritten note read: 'Would love to talk w you,' signed with a heart and 'lots of love from Charli xcx.' Her caption invited fans to ask about her creative process, songwriting, or other topics, adding: 'Wanna hear what you’re making too. would love to talk with you <3.' A link directs to an RSVP form on her official website. The singer's previous album, 2024's 'Brat,' sparked a cultural phenomenon known as 'Brat Summer' and solidified her status as a global superstar. She recently released a soundtrack for Emerald Fennell’s 'Wuthering Heights.' Earlier this month, her team confirmed she was finishing a new album, and in a Vogue interview, Charli XCX said: 'I think the dance floor is dead, so now we’re making rock music.' She added that avoiding a dance-leaning follow-up to 'Brat' felt necessary, stating: 'If I’d made another album that felt more dance-leaning, it would have felt really hard, really sad.' In August, Charli XCX will make her headline debut at Reading & Leeds festival, sharing the top billing with Fontaines D.C., Raye, Florence + The Machine, Dave, and Chase & Status.
