Christian Horner set to attend British Grand Prix and launch memoir

Former Red Bull Formula 1 chief Christian Horner is scheduled to attend this weekend's British Grand Prix at Silverstone. It marks his first race since leaving the team last July. He also announced the release of his memoir Drive on 22 October.

Horner was removed from his position before the Belgian Grand Prix amid struggles with performance and internal power struggles at Red Bull. He has spent the past year away from motorsport while holding discussions with various teams.

The 52-year-old will return to the paddock as a guest at Silverstone. He has kept ties with Formula 1 boss Stefano Domenicali and FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem.

His memoir Drive will be published by Transworld Publishing on 22 October, with an audiobook narrated by Horner. The book covers his two decades in Formula 1, including eight drivers' titles with Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen plus six constructors' championships.

Horner stated in February that he has unfinished business in the sport. He said he would return only for the right opportunity where he could win and serve as a partner rather than a hired hand.
