A dead person was found on Thursday morning at a hotel in central Uppsala. Police have opened a preliminary investigation into a crime but say there is no danger to the public.
The person was found around 9 a.m. on Thursday morning. Police then started a preliminary investigation regarding a crime.
No specific crime classification has been given at this stage. Police will interview possible witnesses and carry out a technical examination.
– We will interview any witnesses and conduct a technical examination if it has not already been done, says Pelle Vamstad, police spokesperson.
