A woman was found dead in an apartment in Värnhem, Malmö, on Monday morning. Police suspect murder and have opened an investigation.
Police were called to the scene after reports from the public. A technical examination of the apartment has begun and officers have knocked on doors and interviewed neighbors.
No one is suspected or detained. "There are clear circumstances indicating that a murder has occurred", says Leif Fransson, police spokesperson.
A mapping of the victim is underway to establish a timeline. Police stress that the investigation is in its early stages.
