The two first ladies held productive discussions on social services, ongoing collaborative efforts, and prospects for strengthened ties.

This engagement followed bilateral talks on April 9 between Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and President Ndayishimiye, where they signed memoranda of understanding across sectors like security, health, education, and trade to foster sustainable development and shared prosperity.
