The pro-crypto super PAC Fairshake backed six candidates to victory in primaries held Tuesday in Kentucky, Alabama and Georgia. The group spent more than $20 million on the races and described the results as a 6-0 sweep.
Fairshake devoted millions to Republican candidates in deep-red districts. In Kentucky it spent over $7 million backing Representative Andy Barr, who won the Senate primary with more than 60 percent of the vote to succeed retiring Senator Mitch McConnell. In Alabama the PAC spent $7.4 million on Representative Barry Moore, who led his race but fell short of a majority and will face a runoff.
