Fantic updates XE300 enduro bike for 2027

Italian manufacturer Fantic has introduced a series of engine and design changes to its XE300 two-stroke enduro motorcycle for the 2027 model year.

The updates form part of the company's Evolution Series and focus on performance improvements. They include a new dual-injector electronic fuel injection system, revised cylinder head internals, and a new exhaust expansion chamber aimed at boosting low-to-mid-range torque.

Additional modifications cover updated engine timing, new exhaust and transfer ports, a revised sparkplug, and a crankshaft made from updated materials. The charging system has also been refreshed, and riders can switch between dual engine maps using a handlebar control.

Fantic sources the engine from its subsidiary Motori Minarelli in Italy, while the chassis comes from a long-standing partnership with Yamaha. The frame is a double-cradle aluminum design paired with a Kayaba 48-millimeter SSS fork. Bodywork has been revised for easier rider movement, and the LED headlight has been upgraded.

When announcing the changes, Fantic stated that the Evolution Series upgrades target real competitive needs to maintain top performance and respond to market demand for solidity.
