Foo Fighters headlined the first day of the Mad Cool festival in Madrid with a two-hour-and-twenty-minute rock concert.
Dave Grohl entered the stage without greeting and let out a scream before playing All My Life and The Pretender. The band maintained intensity throughout the performance at the Iberdrola Music venue in Villaverde.
Mad Cool marks its tenth anniversary this year and expects to gather more than 55,000 people daily until Saturday. The edition features over 70 artists and ends on 12 July with Pulp.
The Warning, Wolf Alice and The War on Drugs also performed on the opening day. Thirty-seven percent of attendees come from outside Spain.
