Indonesia women's cycling team best in ASEAN at Tour of Thailand 2026

Indonesia's national women's road cycling team finished third overall in the team classification at the Tour of Thailand 2026, making it the top ASEAN squad. They trailed champions Li Ning Star Ladies from China by just 18 seconds. The result was supported by strong performances from five Indonesian riders.

The Tour of Thailand 2026 consisted of three stages from March 31 to April 2. Indonesia's team placed third behind Li Ning Star Ladies (China), who recorded a total time of 21 hours 40 minutes 27 seconds, and GNC-Fnix Girl Power Cycling (Thailand) in second. Both Indonesia and Thailand were 18 seconds off the leaders.

Indonesia Cycling Federation (ICF) praised the team in an official statement. "Perjuangan tak pernah mengkhianati hasil. Terima kasih Team Road Race Women atas dedikasi dan kerja keras yang luar biasa di Tour of Thailand 2026. Hasil manis pun diraih: peringkat ketiga klasifikasi tim dan tim terbaik ASEAN. Kami bangga, dan perjalanan ini masih terus berlanjut," ICF wrote.

Ayustina Delia Priatna was Indonesia's top rider in 12th place overall, 27 seconds behind leader Valeriya Zakharkina (GHC-Fnix) with 7 hours 13 minutes 07 seconds. Ida Ayu Manik Laksmi Dewi was 14th and Dewika Mula Sova 37th (both 28 seconds back), Syahla Syafiah 56th (59 seconds), and Nihayatuzzain Asshofi 78th (3 minutes 48 seconds).

Among ASEAN teams, Indonesia led Malaysia (43 seconds behind top), Vietnam (1 minute 20 seconds), Thailand (1 minute 32 seconds), and Singapore (2 minutes 22 seconds, 17th place). The event follows the team's participation in Biwase Tour of Vietnam and Biwase Cup 2026.
