Ivan Ivan netted the decisive goal with under a minute remaining to secure a 3-2 road win for the Colorado Eagles over the Chicago Wolves in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.
The victory came on Tuesday at Allstate Arena and gave Colorado a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. Ivan scored on a wrister from between the circles after the Eagles had surrendered a two-goal advantage in the third period. Chase Bradley and Tye Felhaber had put Colorado ahead 2-0 through two periods. The Wolves tied the score on goals from Domenick Fensore on a shorthanded play and Cal Foote. Trent Miner stopped 28 shots for the Eagles while Cayden Primeau made 36 saves for Chicago. Game 4 was scheduled for Wednesday night at 8 ET in Chicago.
