Kentucky man charged after bat attack over wi-fi dispute

A 44-year-old Kentucky resident faces serious charges after allegedly assaulting a couple with a baseball bat because they turned off their Wi-Fi connection.

Jonathan Gross was arrested Sunday morning at a home on Waddle Street in Ferguson following a reported assault. Deputies responded to a call at 5:43 a.m. and found a woman outside the residence with a head injury. She told officers that Gross had struck her and a man with the bat after confronting them about disconnecting the internet service he had been using.
