Kyle Schwarber hit two home runs Sunday to extend his streak to four games as the Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Colorado Rockies 6-0 at Citizens Bank Park. Cristopher Sánchez tossed seven scoreless innings to support the victory.
Schwarber connected for a 432-foot solo shot in the first inning off Rockies starter Tomoyuki Sugano. He added a second homer in the second inning to give the Phillies a 4-0 lead. The performance brought his season total to 16 home runs, matching Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge for the major league lead.
