Manchester City is poised to finalize a £130 million deal for Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliott Anderson. The 23-year-old England international has drawn interest after strong performances at the 2026 World Cup.
According to reports, the transfer has reached completion following negotiations. Nottingham Forest accepted the offer after rejecting Manchester City's initial bids.
Elliott Anderson joined Nottingham Forest for £35 million in 2024. He has made 92 appearances and scored nine goals for the club.
The player has started both of England's matches at the World Cup. He is preparing for a Group L clash against Panama scheduled for Saturday at 22:00 BST.
Anderson told BBC Sport that he is focused solely on his international duties. "It’s pretty easy really, I’m just focusing on the present, I’m blocking it all out," he said.
