Marine Le Pen leads in all 2027 scenarios according to IFOP poll

A new IFOP survey for Le Figaro places Marine Le Pen as the winner in the first round with 36 percent and in the second round against Édouard Philippe, Gabriel Attal and Jean-Luc Mélenchon.

The survey, published on July 10 2026, shows Marine Le Pen winning in every scenario for the 2027 presidential election for the first time. Frédéric Dabi, director general of IFOP, called the result historic and noted that it is the first time the Rassemblement National wins among retirees in a second round.

The poll gives Le Pen 54 percent against Édouard Philippe, 55 percent against Gabriel Attal and 70 percent against Jean-Luc Mélenchon. Dabi recalled that such momentum had only appeared rarely in earlier surveys dating back to 2014.

The snapshot comes after Le Pen’s candidacy announcement. She was sentenced on appeal to 15 months of firm ineligibility but remains able to run according to the sources.
