Meccha Chameleon has reached 15 million copies sold in less than a month. The indie hide-and-seek game previously hit 10 million sales in 16 days.
The developer marked the milestone on the Steam store page with a message thanking fans. The post also announced a new collaboration with a famous Japanese star set for next week.
The £5.29 title has drawn strong player feedback, earning thumbs-up ratings from more than 85 percent of its 45,300-plus reviewers. Meccha Chameleon follows other popular social co-op games such as REPO, Lethal Company, and Among Us.
Earlier, after seven million copies sold, the developer added a Japan-themed map to the game.
