Fiji's Nadroga senior men's rugby team will star in a new television series documenting their preparations for the Skipper Cup. Titled House of Rugby, the show is produced by local company New Fossil Productions. Director Blair Robertson highlighted the team's storied legacy in the sport.

The upcoming series, House of Rugby, will delve into the behind-the-scenes world of Nadroga's senior men's rugby team as they gear up for next year's Skipper Cup, one of Fiji's top rugby tournaments. Produced by New Fossil Productions, a company based in Naboutini, Serua, the show aims to capture the dedication and challenges faced by the players.

Blair Robertson, the director and co-producer, explained that Nadroga was selected due to its rich rugby history and impressive track record in the Skipper Cup. "We’re still taking advice on this and the overall structure of the show, but we have a blueprint and come next year’s skipper cup, we’ll be ready to start filming. And we will be filming as early as next week," Robertson stated.

A Fiji native, Robertson now resides full-time in Serua. His personal connection to rugby runs deep: his father played for and coached Suva in the 1970s, and Robertson himself competed locally before pursuing his career in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. This background underscores the authenticity the series promises to bring to viewers interested in Fiji's rugby culture.

Filming is set to begin soon, with the production focusing on the team's hard work and sacrifices. The series represents an exciting opportunity to showcase local talent on screen, blending sports and storytelling in a format that highlights Fiji's passion for the game.
