NATO accused Moscow of reckless behavior after a Russian drone crashed into a civilian apartment block in Romania, injuring a woman and child. The incident occurred overnight on May 29 during Russian attacks on neighboring Ukraine.
Romania’s defense ministry reported that the drone entered Romanian airspace and struck a 10-story apartment block in Galati near the border with Ukraine. The explosion damaged the roof and a top-floor flat, with two residents treated for minor injuries and others evacuated from the building. Romanian authorities said the drone had been in the country’s airspace for four minutes at low altitude.
