Nike is preparing to reissue the Air Max 97 “Silver Bullet” sneaker with a black tongue detail for its 30th anniversary.
The model is scheduled for a Spring/Summer 2027 release window between January and March.
The updated version keeps the chromed-out exteriors, white midsoles and red accents seen in prior editions from 1997, 2008, 2013, 2016 and 2022. The black tongue provides the main visual change.
Earlier Paris previews also showed a laceless Air Max 97 variant, signaling broader focus on the silhouette next year.
Release timing and pricing details remain to be confirmed by Nike.
