Nike has announced the Cryoshot Mercurial Vapor R9 “Ronaldo” sneaker. The shoe reimagines the iconic 1998 Mercurial boot worn by Ronaldo Nazário.
The new model draws directly from the 1998 World Cup design. It adapts the original football boot for everyday street and lifestyle use.
Nike previously collaborated on R9-themed releases, including one with Patta. The Cryoshot version continues this series of archive revivals.
The Nike Cryoshot Mercurial Vapor R9 “Ronaldo” is due to be released later this summer on Nike's website.
