Nike unveils official images of Kobe 3 Low Protro Mamba Magic

Nike has released official images of the Kobe 3 Low Protro in the Mamba Magic colorway, a low-top version of Kobe Bryant's third signature sneaker. The design draws inspiration from the pink and purple lights outside The Forum in Inglewood, former home of the Los Angeles Lakers. The sneakers are set to launch on March 13, 2026, at a retail price of $190.

Last August, Nike reintroduced Kobe Bryant's third signature sneaker, the Kobe 3, in Protro form with the Halo colorway. Following that, a high-top Christmas-themed colorway was released a few months later. The brand has now updated the line with a low-cut version, beginning with a player exclusive of the Halo colorway and an ultra-limited public release of the Warning Label colorway. Official images have now surfaced for the third low-top iteration in the Mamba Magic colorway.

The Mamba Magic design features various pink and purple hues inspired by the lights outside The Forum in Inglewood. The toe uses tumbled leather in light purple, contrasting with darker purples on the mesh midfoot and checkerboard TPU overlay. A metallic finish appears on the top of the tongue, while the lace set and mesh tongue are in a lighter purple shade. Deep black hues cover the sockliner, heel tab, and top portion of the sole unit. On the heel, a metallic purple Swoosh sits above a small pink Kobe sheath logo and Zoom Air branding. Additional upper details include a Kobe Bryant signature on the right shoe's lace dubrae and a stylized version of his number “24” on the left lace dubrae. The sole consists of a semi-translucent pink midsole and outsole, incorporating an Air Zoom Strobel unit and Cushlon 3.0 foam.

The Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro Mamba Magic will release on March 13, 2026, through Nike and select retailers, both online and in-store. It will be available in men’s sizing for $190.
