Authorities in Nuevo León reported that a group of six or seven armed men broke into influencer Karely Ruiz's home in San Nicolás de los Garza in the early hours of July 29.
The Fiscalía General de Justicia de Nuevo León, through its head Javier Flores Saldívar, ruled out an attempted kidnapping. The prosecutor clarified that the motive was robbery with violence and that no elements support another version.
According to reports from the Secretaría de Seguridad Pública de San Nicolás, the assailants took around 20,000 pesos in cash, jewelry valued at 200,000 pesos and electronic devices. One resident, identified as Jhon Echeverry, Karely Ruiz's partner, was struck on the head during the incident.
Karely Ruiz and her daughter Madisson suffered no physical injuries. Authorities continue the investigation with analysis of surveillance cameras and findings of backpacks and abandoned luxury bags near the home. No arrests have been made so far.
