Pagkaka-delay ng bicam sa DPWH budget dahil sa private talks

Ayon naman kay Gatchalian, mag-o-overnight ang kanyang team upang tapusin ang recomputation batay sa revised cost of materials mula sa DPWH. Sumang-ayon si Suansing, kaya imbes na DPWH, ang budgets ng Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) at Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) ang tinalakay muna.

Ito ay ika-tatlong araw ng hearings, at hanggang Disyembre 23 lamang ang Congress upang i-ratify ang bicameral report. Kung hindi, maaaring mag-reenact ng P6.793 trilyong budget, na magreresulta sa hindi pagpapatuloy ng bagong proyekto at parehong funding para sa agencies.
