Royal Enfield has opened a flagship dealership in the small town of Marne, Iowa, through its partnership with Baxter Cycle. The new outlet follows the company's strategy of establishing dedicated Royal Enfield locations in the Midwest.
The dealership features a dedicated retail space for Royal Enfield gear, a showroom for the brand's motorcycles, and a service area focused exclusively on its machines. Baxter Cycle, which has worked on British motorcycles for more than 50 years, operates the site.
Marne lies south of Interstate 80 between Des Moines and Omaha amid farmland. Royal Enfield North America, established in 2015 and based in Milwaukee, selected the location for its lower real estate costs compared to major cities.
The company has drawn from Harley-Davidson's model of brand-focused dealerships but applies it to more affordable motorcycles. Similar outlets are expected in other areas.
