International Relations Minister Ronald Lamola has spoken with counterparts in Ghana and Nigeria. He stated there is no credible evidence that nationals from those countries were killed by authorities during recent protests.
The government cautioned against fake videos and divisive social media content. It expressed regret over Ghana escalating the issue to the African Union but affirmed openness to continued dialogue on migration challenges.
