Spoilers for IO Interactive's upcoming James Bond game, 007: First Light, have surfaced online following a security flaw in Indonesia's game rating system. The leak includes more than an hour of footage from the game's ending. Other titles, including Bandai Namco's Echoes of Aincrad, were also impacted.
IO Interactive's 007: First Light, an action-adventure and stealth title starring James Bond, faced a major spoiler leak this week. Gameplay footage submitted privately for classification in Indonesia was exposed due to the flaw, allowing it to spread online, as first reported by VGC and covered by Eurogamer.net on April 13, 2026. The most damaging material shows an extended sequence from the game's conclusion, lasting over an hour. Players sensitive to spoilers are advised to adjust social media settings ahead of the late May release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is slated for this summer. The incident also affected Bandai Namco's RPG Echoes of Aincrad, with its footage shared online. An upcoming remake of Assassin's Creed: Black Flag and the recently announced Castlevania: Belmont's Curse were part of the exposed materials, though no footage from those has appeared publicly yet.
