The supplemental draft order will not be made public. It follows a formula that groups teams by prior season wins and playoff status before holding lotteries within each group.
Pittsburgh has never selected a college player in the supplemental draft outside of the special 1984 edition. Interest in quarterback Brendan Sorsby could make the team's position relevant against clubs such as the Cleveland Browns, Arizona Cardinals, and New York Jets.
