Switzerland and Canada meet in Vancouver on Wednesday with first place in Group B at stake in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The match kicks off at 20:00 BST. Switzerland enter after a 4-1 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina, while Canada arrive on the back of a 6-0 victory against Qatar.
Ricardo Rodriguez said the team wants first place. "If you want to be world champions, you have to be able to beat every team," he told Blick. Coach Jesse Marsch stressed Canada must stay focused to win the group.
Predicted line-ups include Gregor Kobel in goal for Switzerland and Maxime Crépeau for Canada. Canada will be without Ismaël Koné, who underwent surgery on a broken leg.
Both sides have four points. Bosnia and Herzegovina play Qatar at the same time to decide third place.
