A teenager from the rättvik area has been charged at mora district court with four counts of attempted murder and other serious offenses. The incidents took place in january this year.
Prosecutor jimmy skogström stated that the charged individual built a live bomb using manuals from the internet. The device was left outdoors in a bag at a high school and was assessed to pose a life-threatening risk to people nearby.
The teenager is also charged with gross weapons offenses after manufacturing functional 3d-printed weapons stored at a gym. Items found there included 3d-printed casings for hand grenades and pipe bombs along with shrapnel and sulfuric acid.
The accused denies the attempted murder charges but admits to making the bomb and possessing the weapons. The trial is expected to start in mid-june.
