Ultrahuman's new Ring Pro addresses common complaints about smart rings by providing up to 15 days of battery life, according to the company's announcement on February 27, 2026. The ring ships with a battery case that extends power to 45 days, designed for convenient recharging on the go. Bhuvan Srinivasan, from Ultrahuman, noted that the previous hardware had reached its limits in data processing, prompting a complete re-engineering of the Pro model. It now includes a dual-core processor with on-device machine learning, increased memory for up to 250 days of data storage before syncing, and enhanced durability features, such as easier disassembly in case of swelling from the finger or battery. The accompanying Pro Charger is styled for display on a nightstand or desk, incorporating a battery, LED indicators, speaker, haptics, and firmware diagnostics to prevent device issues. Ultrahuman CEO highlighted the engineering effort behind the battery life, stating, 'To get something to last for 15 days took us months of engineering effort.' Alongside the hardware, Ultrahuman introduced Jade, a 'real time biointelligence AI' that delivers actionable insights, initiates breathwork, and detects atrial fibrillation in real time. Jade will evolve with features like ordering food, adjusting room temperature, or alerting to health concerns, drawing data from the ring, the M1 continuous glucose monitor, and environmental sensors in Ultrahuman Home. The Ring Pro positions itself as a competitor to devices like Oura, with pre-orders open now for $479 outside the US and trade-in options for existing Ultrahuman Ring owners.
