Publisher Kwalee has announced Vampire: The Masquerade - Eternal Whispers, a new narrative-driven CRPG set in dark-modern Montreal. The game draws inspiration from Disco Elysium and features no traditional combat encounters.
The title follows protagonist Gabe, a vampire emerging from torpor with fractured memories. Guided by Sam, a reluctant Thin-Blood, players pursue a rogue ghoul that leads into a conspiracy surrounding the Temple of Eternal Whispers. Developer Flyos, known for the Vampire: The Masquerade - Chapters board game, is making its first video game. Gameplay emphasises investigative discovery, deduction, character customisation and a Final Death mode for permanent consequences. No release window or console versions have been confirmed yet. Kwalee revealed the project via Steam, where further details are expected in due course.
