Victoria Beckham has announced a 38-piece collection in partnership with Gap, set to launch on April 24. The designer described her early encounters with the brand and shared inspirations behind the everyday essentials elevated with her signature style. Prices for the items range from $34 to $328.
Victoria Beckham first encountered Gap as a teenager in the UK during the early 1990s. “It felt distinctly American, fresh, and unlike anything else available at the time,” she told Vogue. “That impression has stayed with me.” This marks the debut of a multi-season partnership where Beckham infuses Gap's classic looks with her chic, minimal, and tailored aesthetic. Key pieces include fleece sets, khakis, tees, denim, logo hoodies, and sporty jackets featuring red VB stitching and vintage influences from the 1980s and 1990s. The collection emphasizes denim as a starting point, with sculptural shapes in a neutral palette accented by bright blues and deep purple. Inspiration draws from contemporary art, including Gerhard Richter’s Two Candles and Agnes Martin’s Night Sea, Beckham said. The campaign features models Mica Argañaraz and Lina Zhang in shrunken Canadian tuxedo sets and olive green jackets, photographed by Mert Alaş and Marcus Piggott. “My brand has always been built around modern wardrobe essentials,” Beckham noted. She highlighted Gap's alignment with her values in creating timeless, quality pieces for everyday wear. Beckham expressed excitement about refining Gap's heritage with her attention to detail, making premium products accessible worldwide at affordable prices.
