Police are investigating a suspected illegal threat after a Waxholmsbåt captain reported that people aimed a rifle-like weapon at the vessel at Bergs brygga on Möja.
The alert reached police at 17.20 on Monday. The captain had seen one or more people on a smaller pier about 60 meters away aiming at the boat. Police have filed a report for illegal threat but no suspect has been identified. Two men were described standing with the weapon and following the vessel. Two trips to and from the pier were canceled after the incident. Traffic at the pier was halted during the evening but is set to resume its normal schedule on Tuesday. The captain has received support from security staff at the Madame Rederi company. The event is unusual according to the operator.
