Xi says China ready to establish security partnership with Cambodia

Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Friday that China is willing to establish a security partnership with Cambodia and work together to combat telecom fraud.

Xi made the remarks during a meeting in Beijing with Samdech Techo Hun Sen, president of the Cambodian People's Party and president of the Senate.

He highly commended Cambodia's determination and actions to crack down on telecom and online fraud.

The two sides agreed to make sustained efforts to root out the chronic problem.
