Armin Mueller-Stahl récompensé par un Golden Ochse pour l'ensemble de sa carrière

L'acteur Armin Mueller-Stahl a reçu samedi soir le prix honorifique Golden Ochse décerné par le Filmkunstfest Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. La ministre-présidente Manuela Schwesig a remis cette distinction à l'artiste de 95 ans.

Mme Schwesig a salué le parcours de M. Mueller-Stahl, des plages du Mecklembourg-Poméranie-Occidentale jusqu'à Hollywood. Elle a rappelé qu'un film avait déjà été tourné sur la plage d'Ahrenshoop en 1956. En RDA, il a joué dans des films de la DEFA et a signé une pétition contre l'expulsion de Wolf Biermann.

Armin Mueller-Stahl a rejoint l'Ouest en 1980 et s'est fait une place à Hollywood. Il a obtenu une nomination aux Oscars pour le film Shine. Malgré son succès international, il a continué de participer à des productions allemandes telles que Les Mann - Roman d'un siècle (Die Manns - Ein Jahrhundertroman).

Deux expositions à Schwerin présentent ses peintures jusqu'à fin mai. Le violoniste de concert de formation s'est également produit en tant que musicien.
