Le corps d'Aníbal Cepeda, âgé de 71 ans, a été retrouvé dimanche dans un complexe abandonné à Río Gallegos. La propriété appartenait autrefois à Daniel Muñoz, ancien secrétaire de Néstor Kirchner.

Le corps a été découvert dans le patio intérieur d'un immeuble résidentiel abandonné à l'angle des rues Gobernador Moyano et Federico Sphur, sur la Costanera. Le site est géré par l'Agencia de Administración de Bienes del Estado et gardé par la Gendarmería Nacional.

Les enquêteurs ont atteint les lieux après avoir arrêté Marcelo Félix Curtti, qui a fourni des détails précis sur l'endroit. Cepeda était porté disparu depuis le 20 avril, et les recherches avaient impliqué l'utilisation de drones ainsi que des patrouilles en bateau sur les rivières et les lagunes.
