Body of missing retiree found in confiscated property in Río Gallegos

The body of 71-year-old Aníbal Cepeda was found on Sunday in an abandoned complex in Río Gallegos. The property once belonged to Daniel Muñoz, former secretary to Néstor Kirchner.

The body was discovered in the internal patio of an abandoned apartment building at the corner of Gobernador Moyano and Federico Sphur on the Costanera. The site is managed by the Agencia de Administración de Bienes del Estado and guarded by Gendarmería Nacional.

Investigators reached the location after arresting Marcelo Félix Curtti, who provided precise details on the spot. Cepeda had been missing since April 20, with searches involving drones and boat patrols on rivers and lagoons.

The autopsy will establish the cause of death as forensic experts and División de Investigaciones personnel collect evidence at the scene.
