L'escroquerie CallPhantom se propage via 28 applications du Google Play Store totalisant 7 millions de téléchargements

Une campagne d'escroquerie baptisée CallPhantom est apparue dans 28 applications disponibles sur le Google Play Store. Ces applications, qui ont été téléchargées plus de 7 millions de fois au total, promettaient aux utilisateurs un accès à leurs journaux d'appels.

Le logiciel malveillant a été distribué par le biais d'applications à l'apparence légitime sur la boutique officielle d'Android. Une fois installées, les applications collectaient des données d'appels sans le consentement approprié des utilisateurs, selon les rapports sur ce stratagème.
