Le gouvernement provincial de Cebu construit de nouvelles stations d'épuration dans huit hôpitaux pour un investissement total de 56,4 millions de pesos. Le projet a débuté par une cérémonie de pose de la première pierre le 4 juillet 2026.

La gouverneure Pamela Baricuatro a dirigé la cérémonie pour une station de 8,4 millions de pesos à l'hôpital de district d'Oslob. Les installations utiliseront la technologie des bioréacteurs à membrane pour traiter les eaux usées plus efficacement.

Le Dr Nikki Catalan a déclaré que ces systèmes amélioreraient l'assainissement et la conformité environnementale. Des stations similaires sont en cours de construction dans les hôpitaux de Carcar, Argao, Bantayan, Minglanilla, Pinamungajan, Camotes et Tuburan.

Les allocations varient de 1,6 million à 9,36 millions de pesos par site. L'hôpital de district d'Oslob bénéficie également d'une modernisation de ses urgences.
