Le ministre égyptien de l'Industrie, Khaled Hashem, a rencontré le 9 juin les dirigeants de la China National Tire & Rubber Corporation, menés par le président Wang Jianjun. L'entreprise prévoit de construire une nouvelle installation dans le district d'Amreya à Alexandrie par le biais de Prometeon Tyre Egypt, ajoutant une capacité annuelle de 1,5 million de pneus pour camions et équipements agricoles.
