Der ägyptische Industrieminister Khaled Hashem traf am 9. Juni mit Führungskräften der China National Tire & Rubber Corporation unter der Leitung der Vorstandsvorsitzenden Wang Jianjun zusammen. Das Unternehmen plant den Bau einer neuen Fabrik im Stadtteil Amreya in Alexandria durch Prometeon Tyre Egypt, wodurch die Kapazität um jährlich 1,5 Millionen Reifen für Lastkraftwagen und landwirtschaftliche Geräte erhöht werden soll.
