CI Games a signé un accord de séparation avec Epic Games qui met fin à l'exclusivité PC pour Lords of the Fallen 2. L'accord est entré en vigueur le 14 avril 2026 et permet au jeu d'être lancé sur d'autres plateformes de distribution, dont Steam. Les versions consoles ne sont pas affectées.

Le développeur polonais a publié l'accord de séparation sur son site internet le 18 mai. Le document précise que CI Games a récupéré l'intégralité des droits de distribution ouverte pour la version PC, tout en poursuivant sa coopération concernant l'Unreal Engine et d'autres services d'Epic. Le pacte d'exclusivité initial remontait à juin 2024.
